Re: Sydney Classic Boat Festival
Thanks C-D, looks like it will be wet for the set-up tomorrow, but "showers easing" on Sat and clearer on Sun. I now have two volunteers for Saturday, but only one for Sunday, so if anyone wants a cheap day out, call me on Sunday morning and I can get you into the event as an 'Exhibitor'. ...

Hope you're not suggesting either John or I had anything to do with a 'trojan'......

Re: Choosing the correct Prop
Did you try measuring relative speed difference as well as rpm? Might find it's not going any faster, just revving harder...?? Generally speaking, keep swapping props (that will fit) until you find one that works, gives good thrust and/or speed and doesn't allow the motor to over-rev. From what I un...

p24 has the report on the Inaugural Tasmanian meet under heading New Norfolk..... Only two pics, but I had only three to choose from ;) Slow download time is usually due to multiple 'dowloaders' - if it happens, best to try again later. As most people around the world got the email notification at o...

"The Gull" Issue#3 - OUT NOW!!
Charles has already posted the link up here: http://www.saving-old-seagulls.co.uk/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2803#p26341 But if that isn't working as it's overloaded, it's also available here: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?duda1doafkf99en You'll note that the RISR feature is done as 'double-pag...

Re: My Daughter, Laura turned 18 just Now
LOL..!! Get 'em working, let 'em pay their own way! My young feller has to buy all his own 'crap', and I veto much of what he would buy. He'll be 18 next birthday, and is angling for the P-plates at the moment.....but the 100 hours compulsory L-time is slowing him down a bit... ...which would sugges...

Re: Aussie Curlew
Yeah, well the original Watermans and Evinrudes were called 'rowboat motors' and were designed to replace the the efforts of the oarsman... ...in other words, making it *easier* to get from point A to point B, rather than necessarily any quicker. When you had previously had to row 10 or 20 miles up ...

A little ditty, composed in 'honour' of His Charlesness..... :) Convinced he was bound to be flailing, Against H-A and others around Hayling, In an alleged fit of sloth, Charles broke tib and fib both, To avoid accusations of baling! .....but I can think of easier and less painful ways to do so..!! ...
