Re: Yeh - Beat This . . .

H-A how can I purchase you a pint if I don't know how to spell your name - Allan, Alan? Chucky doesn't know, and anyway he doesn't drink . . . I have just contacted confidential sources in Lerryn (I shall not be allowed to live there residentially for bloody years yet) and I'm told it's quite access...

Best price and service - if he has one - would be John, the host of the site. Contact SOS.

Or else keep looking at Ebay - put in a 'save' for Seagull . .

Re: Introduction and is it treatable?

If you are accurate with the description of the engines (rather than 3/4hp) it would only take a few minutes for someone to weigh them individually on bathroom scales. Then Google Parcel2Go who will arrange transportation at the best price with a few button clicks. Up to 25kg is aprox £8.00. So two,...

Re: WW2 SD Seagull

Side Mount Brackets?
Does that mean the engine was mounted on the gunwale? How far along the length of the boat would that be and for what type of boat was this setup recommended / designed?
Would just the one outboard be used or a pair?
Any actual recollection of their usage?

Re: Who bought the prop on the Bay?

H.A. you are such a worry to me - The prop is a right hand. its straight trailing edge is on the left. Unless my poor elderly eyes are completely failing. And you know Seagulls do not use propellers, as far back as I have seen, with that fixing. I think the clue is in the '?? dunno' - and it appears...

Re: RNLI, we can help!

I have had a Direct Debit to the RNLI for years now.
In anticipation for when I finish my bloody boat and cause a hazard in the Channel.

Won't be long now, finished grinding the valves in the first head . . .

Re: Where is RBT when you need him?

I have not had information other than the website '29th'. Norman, an original race instigator and ex Bermudan inhabitant, sadly inbibed one too many of the red nectar and died a short while ago. He was always a committee member to find information from in the Ship. Should the date change from the ad...

Re: Improving the Century

Impressed by your workmanship H.A.
Apart from low speed cooling, what is is the extra water advantage or is this an engineering exercise?
