did you tap a fitting into the Century 102 outlet hole ? or just poke it in there ?

given the absence of the fuel tank and throttle lever, I guess that must be the unique Aussie 'fuelled on air' conversion ??

I'm reliably led to believe ...and I have 2 ...that the wartime 102's were zinc plated for some reason ....but why ? paint has got to be cheaper ??
hence Hugz finding the non painted ones being p'raps moving on excess wartime production

love your faith in the human condition H-A ...but the last bag of bolts described as a very rare WW II seagull made £58 ..and it was truly rubbish

still ...might have had a better coil and gearbox than mine :oops:

Ive seen this one too and fully concurr with Charles L about all the wrong bits ...is that what makes it rare perhaps ??? RBT ...I also bid for the Bishops Stortford one ...thought I was winning there but went away for the weekend ...missed it to end the matter on the Naval Gull question ..... for H...

exactly as I said brilliant seamanship .....& yes it can be true on occasion.... nudging into a full lock of Thames Gin Palaces, carrying the merest way possible, to gently kiss the side of the lock and nestle TeaBag into a tiny slot go to tie up forrard ...and the clunk-grunt as the SD wants to...

sparky points ??

stripped down a 1956 SJM that was running badly didn't like full throttle...gulped and died repeatedly and didn't want to re-start took off magneto cover and points box cover to clean and re-set points ...left it 'naked' to try restart saw intermittent sparking across the points is this usual?? .......
