Agree the cylinder has been changed and I presume a significant overhaul at the same time. The gearbox is straight out with three nipples. my photo of it is too blurred to make much out. Some photos of AD 135 must be one of the first AD's and may be one of the oldest in existence anyone got an earlier one? so I am very interested to know what every one thinks is original and what's not. Just unearthed AD135 with...... Dover grip with end cap. also supporting a transom bracket with bent bronze thumb screws.
This has to be a very early AD from 1946.

SD5709. now fitted with correct square throttle leaver as shown in period photo. Cant find a side bracket through.

Bit of a spread there but surly if it was/is still originally boxed the buyer would be unlikely to disturbed it due to an immediate depreciation. Bit like the "brand new" fuel tank a few weeks back that sold for 90ukp. if you use it and add fuel you will cut its value by a third. My friend...
