Re: The Seagull Box

I'm measuring a complete box by myself. I did have the ides to sell one of my 102s (dis-assembled) in a plywood box, but now am contemplating a scaled timber box in the Seagull style.

Re: The Seagull Box

I doubt that I could find matching Pine in Australia, but will get a construction list with dimensions of each piece, including bolts, nails and screws.

Re: Complete Propeller range pictorial database

I remember many years ago I was curious about the differences in props. I did calculate the working area of a few Seagull props .... lost the data some time ago. what did interest me at the time was the similarity of the pitch. So I laid a sliding bevel on a C100 prop and a 40+ prop. Century 100 5 b...

Re: Amal 2 jet key/spanner

I did the Falkirk - Edinborough - Falkirk trip a couple of years ago, only saw two Seagulls. Heavy weed all the way!

I like it because it has removed that silly water only elbow that allows exhaust bubbles to escape.

Re: Silly question?

Im always changing bits, all it takes is the construct a large to small exhaust tube and change the water supply tube. At the moment I have a 102 power unit on a 40+ gearbox, last I had a Century 100 to the same 40+ gearbox. Cant say I've really notice any change in power or speed. And as others hav...
