British Anzani Class B Racer Cylinder Porting...
Here are a few pictures of the 7 inlet and 2 exhaust ports :o in the Anzani cylinders and the recessed cylinder head design which, fed by upswept ports with moulded aluminium inserts causes the "loop charging" in the combustion chamber. These Anzani motors are piston ported and have a rotar...

Hydroplane wanted...
I am looking for a hydroplane to suit my racing Anzani. Plywood, fibreglass or aluminium will do as long as it is sound. There were several here years ago but they have all disappeared as they are practically useless for anything else! There must be one out there...

Re: British Anzani Class B Racer
2? That's totally cool :D I'm sure parts can be found by sniffing around. That's all part of the fun. 8) do you have a boat to put the engine on? It took me almost 20 years to find this one... :o We don't have a proper hydroplane anymore but there are small speedboats that will do...with a bit of l...

Re: British Anzani Class B Racer
I have one and a boat to put it on, but where can you run it? Only 2 places in the UK that I know about, Sandy Bedfordshire & Oulton broad, but only by appointment & without it's correct exhausts, has to have a silencer like the pics. Normally started with the prop out of the water, then dr...

British Anzani Class B Racer
Just a quick look at my (untidy) Anzani monster  This needs some cleaning and a few bits but it's ALIVE! :D I have included a 1939 Johnson MS39 1.1hp toddler as comparison  When the Johnson runs it's like a gentle pulse in the water, when the Anzani runs...all hell breaks loose! :D The Anz...

WSC...
I have recently taken command of a WSC,I know they were only made from 1978-1979,does this make them rare? Are there many out there? The previous owner assured me that it hadn't been running since the early 1990s. It runs now... :D :D I would like to know why they were only produced for such a short...
