Re: Stainless Drive Shaft
Adding stainless to a steel part will only make the steel rust faster! I would not do it!

Wipac HT lead replacement
Can the Ht lead be changed on a wipac mk 2 coil? The engine in question is W490J7 I know the HT lead can be removed from the coil itself by taking the clip off and unplugging it. But can the lead itself come out of the plug? http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b302/malenudge/20150826_195015.jpg The ot...

Re: Cleaning a villiers carb
The float bowl unscrews off the bottom of the carbie body. Take out the needle and see if fuel flow's, if not then soak it in some cleaner for a while then blow some air through it the wrong way to get the muck out.

Making A new prop nut wont be a problem at all!
I will crack out the 1000 + grits but first I would like to get the mixer sorted so I don't end up scratching the polished parts.

Re: British Anzani Minor help needed
Your engine looks real nice. Looks like I may have to make a new nut to hold the prop on as well. Is your one made of aluminium? The nut I my engine is a crappy looking brass one. Started to have a play with the buff Started off with a poly pad style buff it make the aluminium look quote dull but ta...

It is a shame you aren't in NZ, I could have cast you a new one... using the old one as a pattern.
Hope you can get it fixed.

Re: British Anzani Minor help needed
I was finally able to get the brass screws undone to access the water pump. It's not much of an impeller but it seems to work very well. The only reason I took it apart was to change the screws. This is what I found! http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b302/malenudge/Chris/Minor%20motor/20150802_16473...

Re: New toy
Looks interesting! It look quite a bit bigger than the 3hp Warren Jet. what Hp is it? About 5Hp??
What brand is it?
Is the impeller the same orientation as a stick blender? Sucking in the small holes and blowing out above.
