Plastic fuel tank...
I'm all for originality when it comes to Seagulls, all the parts and pieces that make a BS what it is, and that goes for all the many models out there. We all have our favorites and many forum members have a complete collection, all in great condition. I noticed over the months I've been a member th...

Re: End of the world..
...is it true that all the Australians and New Zealanders are going to stop posting here and on Facebook and stop sending emails from midnight just to wind us all up??? Not so Charles...we Canadians are tough and end-time proof. Count on us to keep this site and forum alive and kickin' and our post...

Re: End of the world..
Just wanted to make you mates a little nervous before THE day!
But don't worry...if we do kick the bucket, most of you will come back and live a new life as restored Seagulls WITH BRASS TANKS!!!
Happy Christmas to you and your loved ones!

Re: Champion 8 com spark plug.
I posted before that I have this original plug on my '71 Silver Century and find it performs better than a new D-16 or the NKG ones (which I keep as spares).
So easy to clean!

Re: Dry ice blasting.
Strange you should mention it Bullet and what a coincidence. :!: After lunch in Ottawa yesterday with my wife and while waiting in the parking, I noticed a van parked on the other side of the street with the lettering "Dry Ice Blasting." I immediately thought of its use for Seagull restora...

No harm intended Charles...BUT there IS a reason why you kept it quiet like the other Charles posted?  But just to keep the peace and in case your tach is reading this, and also because it's the Christmas season, I will only repeat the old saying which says that "beauty is the eyes ...

Re: Gull level...
Thanks for the link Stelios...but this double bubble level looks more like a gizmo from Star Wars than the discrete cool aluminum one I glued on my Gull lately, it just wouldn't blend with the motor's 1930's style. Besides, by the time you've squinted your eyes to gawk at the reading, you've already...

Good on you Charles...maybe if we'd stick a gyro base to it we could screw it to the flywheel nut and enjoy rpm's to their fullest!
