Real Cellulose is petrol resistant, most cars were painted with Cellulose before Isocyanate and it did not wash of if you over filled the tank. Compressor for the big things and cans for the small stuff. Only because it is a real pain cleaning spray guns all the time. If you have the engine in bits for a total rebuild, and you have a new pair of rings. Would it not be worth putting the new rings in? They are not expensive and can only improve compression. Some of the motor bike people even run them in dry for a few seconds to hone the bore (Not sure about this). ...
