Just looked it up 10-32 has max Dia 0.1891 and 32 TPI 2BA has max Dia 0.1850 and 31.4 TPI Close enough, but I suspect that you are correct about it being 10-32. What is 0.6 TPI on a stub thread about 5/16" long between friends :lol: About 0.1875 of a thread. Well within Seagull design parameter...

Yes I asked that question a while ago. It is 8-32 UNC, but I think the other end is 2BA. That is what I used and it worked fine.

P.S the ones from the Antipode use metric, but I would rather use the correct thread. :)

Real Cellulose is petrol resistant, most cars were painted with Cellulose before Isocyanate and it did not wash of if you over filled the tank. Compressor for the big things and cans for the small stuff. Only because it is a real pain cleaning spray guns all the time. You can get good paint in cans, but as has been mentioned on this forum by others, modern nice eco friendly paint does not like petrol so watch what you use. As with most pain...

I test the engine cold, when it has cooled down fully after having been run.(hope that there is the same residual oil in bore) I have tried both rope and drill there was no difference, so I just use the rope now. If you have the engine in bits for a total rebuild, and you have a new pair of rings. Would it not be worth putting the new rings in? They are not expensive and can only improve compression. Some of the motor bike people even run them in dry for a few seconds to hone the bore (Not sure about this). ...
