My 102 is now minus the L.

Image

Some say this has lost me 0.1hp, but at least it now looks in proportion.

Now time to put it back together again.

Thought an Aussie pack was a 6 pack of Beer :D

All that way from Southamptom to Australia.

Most of those have rusted away overhere, but you do see them still converted into camper vans

Another British icon worth its weight in this weather!

!957 still going strong. Lots of very expensive cars did not leave their drives today. But just like a Seagull super reliable simple technology, still going strong. http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj60/Horsley-Anarak/Snow.jpg I bet it is hot in Australia, but you can't beat a bit of sledging. My latest 102 from the bay

Hope I have not bought a pup! Serial No.C6367 (? 1946) http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj60/Horsley-Anarak/sd.jpg Flat exhaust, tank and prop are included (hope they are the correct ones). No filler plug in gear box, later bracket, cant see domed top. It cost £30.00 (gearbox must be worth that)....

I have done this twice with success both times. Remove gearbox from rest of motor, make sure spring end of shaft is clean and free of burrs all the way down to the prop. Put slotted end of shaft in battery drill chuck and spin shaft up with drill whilst holding onto prop and gearbox (input shaft of ...

If you pull up the bigger picture in photobucket, then just click on the IMG code.
The code will then be highlighted in green, copy and paste this into your forum message, don't add anything else or click any other boxes.

Hope that helps

Have just been given a CPC

Once the word goes round that you collect seagulls they start to just turn up. http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj60/Horsley-Anarak/cpc.jpg It was passed on to me after it was given to a friend of my fathers, he did not need it as he is building a steam boat. Have not got one of these in my collec...

I have used Myfords for tha last thirty years, they are a good simple accurate lathe. If you can find a Super 7 I find these are much easier to use, but I have owned both. £870 is quite a lot on money for an old ML7. For that I would expect it to be in mint condition and have a gearbox. A lot of th...

Real cellulose the stuff you can't buy unless it is for a classic car restoration. Have just finished the inlet polishing, have enlarged it a bit and improved the shape. This can only help to get more air/fuel into the cylinder. http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj60/Horsley-Anarak/port.jpg Carb in...
