Re: British Anzani Down Under
Here are some dated Anzani Outboard Advertisements that show the different variations of the Pilot. They also address the errors in my earlier posts. 1951 - With Drive/Exhaust Tube, Single Transom Clamp, Gen 1 Decal Anzani Pilot October 1951.jpg 1957 With Cast Mid-Section, Single Transom Clamp, Gen ...

Re: British Anzani Down Under
The dates advised above are based on what I've been told by others on here only and could be well off the mark. I have not attempted to verify through adverts, but that shouldn't be too difficult to do as there is a lot of Anzani advert information on the public domain. From my own observations, the...

Re: British Anzani Down Under
Beautiful restoration. Small world too aye. I was talking with Grant in SA about your decal the other day! Nice to see it on your beautifully restored Pilot. She's definitely not a '65 though. Early 50's I'd say with the single transom clamp and that decal arrangement. By the mid 50's the decal was ...

There was a cross radial advertised for sale in the US a while back, asking $20k. There has also been one found in Australia recently, original and unrestored. Not for sale!

Re: Marston 340cc Twin
Here's a bit more info Charles. You may already have this on your register.
Spiro mine is the one that Tom G had when he was in Indiana. He sold it to Walt P in Wisconsin. I bought it from the estate sale. It's the only one I know of in the US .

Charles, approval to leave the image here (and to post it anywhere else I consider appropriate) has been received. I have asked the owner if he is aware of the register and if he would like your details to converse further with you about that. In anticipation of a positive response, please send me y...

Re: Marston 340cc Twin
I'm currently trying to compile a complete list of pictures of all the Marston models, showing all the necessary details. As you'll understand no one wants a picture of their pride & joy, displayed to the world with several obvious jobs still left to do. The image was posted by the owner in the...

Just thought I'd share this in the forums.
Picture is borrowed from the "Seagull Outboard Fans" Facebook Group. Date of post, 21 June 2019.
Don't know for sure, but I suspect the location might be Michigan USA.

Re: Nice racing boat
Very cool! The Watermota Outboard Engine was made in the UK I believe. Have seem earlier examples (more like the early Evinrude Rowboat Motors), but nothing quite like this. Here's another of the same type: http://collection.sciencemuseum.org.uk/objects/co39692/hydroplane-bullet-ii-with-watermota-ou...

Re: BMB Britannia coil fix?
Until we see a better decal, we will not know whether there is a boat there or not, or what the correct colors are. i had not seen the image posted by Russ before, but clearly it is not the same as the decal. Aside from the waves and background, even the size and position of Britannia is not the sam...
