Stelios: You fine sir have commited the cardinal sin of the profitable collector (or for the pay for your hobby collector). Never leave behind a minty rare example for the sake of a few bucks when you have a patio FULL of less valuable (and unused) saleable items. Call her get a price and go buy it....

40 plus doing 18 km/hr or 70 kms with no RTV
With moose season looming and gas prices thru the roof decided we needed to scout some more localish areas. The Peace R, runs by here and despite my fear of it we decided to give it a float and see if it was doable with the advantage of the long days and warmth. So up at 2 am and the girls drive us ...

My neck hurts just looking at them. t's like racing with rocks in the middle of the road :D yeah they know the bussiness. Those guys get over &quo...

don't got one but I did have china ship me an air filter that fits over the compensator like a glove for 5 bucks, all black and chrome and cool. Knocked about I guess! that is going to be a 'hard on gear' adventure to be sure. To be honest I never understood fancy bright work myself, battle ship grey accented with fish scales and goose blood on good clean lines is as pretty as any boat needds be IMHO.

Silica, it is not that white http://www.ippnet.com/images/stories/Fillers/Cab-o-sil.png Cab-o-sil is light weight, low density fumed silica powder additive for use in all types of resins and gelcoats although, when used to thicken polyester or vinylester resins, creates an excellent medium sanding,...

Silica for sure. H-A if you cut a rubber spatula to the right shape, get the right mix and stay sober during the application it runs on very true. Wet the ply with straight resin first and apply fillet just before it tacks up and get grabby. i.e it is still wettish but not enough to drip. What do yo...

Last night I put a few extra wraps/tabs of 10 oz cloth connecting sides to transom so now she is ready for the tourque of a 50 year old OMC That and a coat of racing grey paint are gonna make her worthy of keeping up with the tide at least.

Nice lot of Wipac magneto parts, carb spring, HT lead, fuel tap, proabbaley a 25:1 conversion needle(?) all great bits to have for sure. The cork gaskets go under a wipac coil, the points are wipac and the flat bits with a hole and screw are for securing an HT lead to wipac magneto. Keep at least on...
