40 Bitsa!

I have a nice featherweight/40 bitsa! Need some space in my garage, and I recently bought another featherweight so this one is spare. Its an electronic ignition type featherweight in origin, but not with a recoil. The basics: steel tank which is good (repainted). Water flow was ok, but I felt it cou...

Anzani Pilot

Not a seagull wanted I am afraid. I have an Anzani Pilot complete - just needs new piston rings. Does anyone have a spare set? Or know a good source? Lovely little engine, the pilot - be nice to get it going again.

Re: Carrying a seagull

Thanks for the responses - am going to try a cheap outboard carry bag from the Bay which has suitable dimensions. I love the sleeping bag and pilow idea though! Duck of goose feather filled?

Carrying a seagull

What do folk use? I don't like the over the shoulder method as in the original advert as I am not keen on the burns from the exhaust, or the oil on my clothes. Has anyone found a suitable carry bag for a 40 series, and its different shape than a conventional outboard?

45 Wanted

I would love to get hold of a very late featherweight - the 2 Seagull model (45) - TSEF coded. As rare as hen's teeth in good condition - but I thought I would try nevertheless!

I an anzani in bits if anyone is interested. Leg and prop, head, crankcase all good. Piston rings needed. Tank rusty. Flywheel and ignition should be ok. Let me know if you are interested. Say £30 for the lot?
