Re: BMB Britannia coil fix?

Well, you seem to have got as far as I did. I has to free hand quite a bit, and also wasn't sure of many of the colors. For the water, i just used an image instead of trying to recreate what was there. Also, I (and you) are yet to put in the boat which sits somewhat around and around the 'rules the ...

Re: BMB Britannia coil fix?

Hello Russonz, I would be interested in copies of the Anzani and Britannia decal artworks if available please. I will provide my email address via pm to you. I had a go at reproducing the one pictured by Ferrier, but didn't have a good enough quality original to work from so gave up on it. Regards, S

Re: Australian Olympic vs British Seagull AD102

IMG_7084.JPG IMG_7086.JPG IMG_7087.JPG IMG_7088.JPG It is in great condition for its age, turns over smoothly, has a heap of compression and a healthy spark. The chrome and aluminium are in really nice condition with only minimal rust and oxidisation. The tank brackets and transom clamps have lost ...

Re: Australian Olympic vs British Seagull AD102

Just sharing some pics of Olympic # 450 after a clean up by its previous owners.

I am also happy to say it is now part of my collection.

Re: Sd 1863

This is a nice SD.

Interesting to see the green paint has been applied to the cylinder, tank mounting brackets, crank case, clutch lever and gearbox/pump housing. I don't recall too many others quite like it.

Good luck with the sale mate. Who ever gets it will be pleased I'm sure.

S

Don't bother with the forum, there was nothing there last time I looked. An idea that never got off the ground I think!

Re: Australian Olympic vs British Seagull AD102

Nice find! However with most advertised in recent times in the $100 to $150 range, I would think that runner in very nice original condition would be worth $250 at best. I'm not quite seeing that here, but it may just be the photos! I sincerely hope you haven't set the owner up for disappointment. I...

Oyster 49 wrote:Side mount ex army brackets are the correct SD bracket. Skeletal is the next one that came along briefly. I've thought about making a replica side mount at some point.
I know of several fabricators that could reproduce them without much difficulty. The hardest part is finding one to copy from.
