Re: Roys second 102 series build

I am in the process of rebuilding a series 102 British Seagull, the supply of a COMPLETE Amal 2 jet carburetor was required. Chill man, give the kid a chance. I am sure we can get you sorted out. No need for Capitals. If Jacob has not got the bits that you need I am sure the rest of us can find them.

Re: Retirement Project

Good job on the rebuild, look great.

Valid point about cable tie, throttle cable often better left hanging loose from previous experience.

Who hasn't got a Forty Plus or a featherweight with a kinked cable, caused by the cable going through the hole in the tiller mount.

Re: Tank conversion to bayonet cap

I would soft solder it, should be strong enough.
Or perhaps low temp silver solder https://www.cupalloys.co.uk/low-temp-silver-solder/

Re: Idiot's guide to fuel please

He was given a couple of bikes in bits, and boxes of engines and parts, we spent a summer holiday trying to get one running. we never did but a couple of years later he got a Francis Barnettt 200cc, We spent ma...

I was very tempted to buy one, but have not passed my bike licence, had to stick with mopeds.
