so other than the cav plate what else have you done? Wow that was 11 years ago, I improved air flow through carb, reworked cylinder, polished all the bits that needed polishing, made it reliable ( half the issue when racing) It is a good strong engine that goes well. What was the maximum speed achieved during the race and is there a speed limit on the course ? Yes there is a harbour speed limit, no one exceeded it as far as I can tell, the Police were there watching at all times to make sure it was a safe charity event. Anyone else going ?
We are taking 5 boats this year now my kid are a bit bigger, and other family members want to race.
Will be good to see some of the old faces as we have not been for a couple of years, RBT has promised to buy me a pint for many years. :lol:

I try and get them to within a couple of thou.

Have straightened quite a few, including later needle roller crank, works OK.

Bit harder if they are twisted.
