Re: Pothauler

Anyone ever seen one of these? An ingenious device from the Emerald Isle: pothauler.JPG Using the power of a Seagull to haul lobster and crab pots from the bottom is a truly wonderful idea! I can not see this as a reality....... Everyone has one of these hanging on a nail for porting and polishing ...

Re: British Anzani Help

Just found an advert from 1957.

I can not tell two or three blade prop but it has a single clamp bracket.

Re: British Anzani Help

It is a later maybe mid to late 60s going by the prop, tank, transom bracket and leg. The number you have shown is not traceable now...........records from Anzani thrown in a skip ages ago. Someone painted it green yes which is no indication of heritage or intended use. Looks nice but does it work?...

Re: Silver Century in original crate?

Hi Andrew I would say that the crate is probably from the factory. It is cheap but suitable for purpose. I am surprised that it still survives till now as it is, while being of the same concept to earlier 50s crates, very flimsy. The older crates were built heavier and had metal fittings instead of...
