swap model 45 for model 60
i have an efpwl, model 60, which is in very good working order, and is cosmetically sound, surplus to my requirement, when i first bought it i was going to to chop it down but have since changed my mind. i now use an efpc which is still a little big for my boat, so a late model featherweight (i do l...

the other thing my uncle said was that a spec. may not be able to discover the minute traces of strontium, which is why he went down the chemisty route with the lab, but it would pick up traces of nickel, cobalt chromium etc common in industrial age steel alloys, probably not present in the sword if...

being fairly interesred in rusty old relics, i've become quite interested in you're sword. very large scrap metal processors often have,or have access to spectorgraphs that are very good at analysing metals, however my uncle, a retiered environmental chemist says that during his working life he ofte...

Thanks for the reply niander. Is the injector devices' water source the tell tale? does it blast in or trickle? and most important, I suppose, does it work? I have at last found where i have read about the tube thing coming from the carb (on the old forum pages). it turns out that it is a noise redu...

isn't it noisy

After a thorogh tank clean/repaint, new fuel line and gear oil changing exersize it started in half a pull. fantastic! It does seem even noisier than my EFP...

why wouldn't i put a five blade prop on my forty plus
i have an efpwl which i have been told may be the wrong engine for my 10'-12' ply folding hull that i am building, wrong perhaps because its too long, i can get around that, in a number of ways, but possibly wrong because it is too powerfull. if i were to put a five blade prop on it given the size o...
