Thanks, I didn't want to force anything. Hadn't thought of checking the tap, so will do that. Guess SOS will have tap cork spares if I need one.

Hi, just looking for a little advice - there's a little bit of black debris at the bottom of the fuel line that I'd like to clean out; when I turn the nut near the fuel tap, the tap turns as well instead of releasing the line. I did wonder about the choke lever because it looked like it needed to be attached to something. ...over flowing from the small hole at the top of the carb bowl...
