Re: James May the reassembler

I would love that....I am too chicken to pull mine apart. Actually pulling it apart is easy, its the putting back together that worries me. You can use my motor if you want, I'll pay for parts and a slab (of beer) for whoever does it!

cheers

Re: In The Tank

Hi all, thanks for the replies so far. Keith has the nub of it...complete novice! It is actually quite hard to remove the prop, it seems a very tight fit and I am worried about forcing it off. I don't wish to disrupt internal gearing etc. I have got it off but it is not an easy thing. Hence the ques...

In The Tank

Hi

a basic question...when I run the gull in a tank/wheely bin/garbage bin, do I have to take the prop off or is just removing the spring OK?

Leaving it all on makes for a fun few seconds. It is also a good way to empty the water out!

Thanks

Re: Ebay Score

Slightly off topic...did AOB Collector hint at an up coming meet here in the West (Australia). I only have one seagull but I would be keen for someone who knows to check it over....apparently one is not enough anyway?

Cheers

Re: My first Seagulls

If you are doing a Western Australia thing... I am in Mandurah but can travel.

I have no idea what I am doing but my Seagull makes lots of noise once she goes, if that helps...

Re: Seagull deep six

I took mine out for a run a couple of weeks ago.....it nearly went in as well. It was running and seemed to be moving up the newly painted outboard mounting. It was a piece of pine painted with shiny enamel paint. Two lessons 1. Use a ply as the pine snapped off a corner as the outboard moved up. 2....

Re: LS 26125

G'day from WA! it must have been in the air as this afternoon I got my 'old dear ' (LLS 21492) going for the first time in 8 years. Bruce lives just up the road, so to speak. Well about 50km, but we don't call that far here. Unlike Bruce I am an engineering ignoramus but I have stripped the carb and...
