Riptide Boatman Farewell
I have tried to give mine away to the local maritime museum, (formerly Lady Denman museum), but they weren't interested without i did an extensive provenance report. Stuff that. So now, before I put it on Ebay, I'm looking for EOI from interested parties that might appreciate it. Pm's please.

Thanks for those replies. It seems the problem is not a common one and thus not an easy diagnosis and fix but I have some directions to look.

points closing
102 runs fine in the bin but as soon as it hits the briny the points close up. Not all the way, stays open enough to still run but without much power. Any suggestions?

Are there any resources available? Spark plug numbers, fuel mix ratio, specs on critical dimensions, workshop manual??? Or am I starting from scratch?

Oh.... That info puts a different light on things. I was just after a little outbourd to push my tinny around for a bit of fishing. The motor was a gift from an old friend who has since passed away, it sparks good memories of him for me. I had hoped to get it running and usable, but not having a set...

Hi all, it's summer again here and once again time to scratch the head over this number.
