Re: An offer you can not refuse.
Out of interest , what sort of price would be 'reasonable' for a similar in average restorable condition? (apart from the obvious answer - 'whatever some one will pay' ) I have a small (but growing) collection of Seagull and would love to own one. (Any offers!)

Re: Early Forty Minus
Have just purchased 40+ (SJP 7593) for £30 on ebay and this has a flat end tank and black painted tiller. (In the same family since 1958 when purchased new and only had occasional use)

Re: Seagull Thames run Lechlade to Teddington 123 miles.
How about just a two day trip to start with so the inexperienced flockers (like myself) could iron out any problems ? Start and finishing at the same point would also solve the transport problems.

Re: Glass Fibre supplier Surrey/Sussex
Price depends on amount and type - If you give them a call they will tell you. They don't have an official shop counter but I found then extremely helpful with advice and suggestions . They also have gel coats and brushes and seem to supply what ever quantity you require - however small. Hope this ...

Glass Fibre supplier Surrey/Sussex
If anyone is the Surrey area is looking for glass fibre products (boat repair or making) I can recommend 'Fi Glass' of Station Road, Edenbridge as being very helpful - they can supply all the resins, matting and tape and freely give advice. (They also make the Caterham 7 bodies).

Re: longest run
I am new to all this but the Thames trip sounds interesting. I have collected a number of 40+ over the last year and also have access to a Gull dinghy and a GP14 ..would either of these be suitable?
