just got hold of a featherweight 40 i think (engine number F 715D9) so i think it was manufactored in April 1969 ? anyone tell if thats correct? i would like to know it,s hp if possible from that number.also as it,s been standing for a while i would like to check and change gear oil before trying to start so not to sieze,is the drain,fill,and level check bolt the plastic one at the back of gear box with the cross on it?also is there anything else i have to do before or check before trying to start after standing for a while
