Thanks for the thoughts John. I was contemplating scrounging a few litres of used Automatic Transmission Fluid from the local transmission service crowd instead of diesel then using a panel-beaters dent puller (heavy weight sliding on the shaft) to try and free it. All is not lost! Merry Christmas to you all. 23c and very humid here today!
