Forgot to mention - I have a British Seagull photo from about 1953. It shows two launches - each about 16 foot - being propelled by a single 102. One launch is towing the other. The jumble of people in each boat is hard to count, but I reckon there must be close to 30 passengers. OK it's a 102, but I still reckon a 40 plus will do the job for you!
