I have a Silver century serial number WS 1699AA9. Made, I think in January 1979. It is broken. The plank of wood that it was clamped to whilst running in the workshop snapped and the motor running at full tilt hit the concrete floor. It siezed. Worst still the carb. hit the floor and the spigot cast on the block snapped off. I have taken the block off and found that a loose semi circular piece of metal in the crankcase was the cause of the jamming. The engine is now free. I suppose with a new block and various nuts which were lost in the procress it could be restored. The rest of it seems fine. Any offers?
